"Scotland”
Цели урока:
-ознакомление
с историей традиционного шотландского костюма -ознакомление с традиционным
музыкальным инструментом шотландцев - ознакомление со столицей
Шотландии - развитие коммуникативных
навыков на основе формирования
лингвострановедческой компетенции. - развитие умения обобщать,
систематизировать, сравнивать полученную информацию (использование оргдиалога) - развитие творческих
способностей учащихся и личностного потенциала - приобщение школьников к
межкультурному взаимодействию. - воспитание уважения и стремления понять
иноязычную культуру - воспитание умения сопоставлять
факты родной и иноязычной культуры Задачи урока: -Закрепление изученного и усвоение нового материала по теме -развитие всех видов речевой деятельности:
аудирования, говорения, чтения, письма. - развитие навыков перевода.
Формы работы: индивидуальная, групповая, фронтальная
Ход урока. 1) Организационный
момент. T: Good morning, my dear. Take your seats. T: What musical instrument have you just heard?
What country is it associated with? Right you are. With Scotland . Have you
ever been there? Not yet? Would you like to visit it right now? Let’s get ready
for our tour. It will be interesting & exciting. You will watch this
beautiful country & learn much interesting about it. Please , read the name
of our lesson & the epigraph. At the end of our lesson you should prove it.

. My dear children, what do you associate Scotland with? Предполагаемые ответы:
Loch Ness, kilt, Military Tattoo, bagpipers, golf, beautiful scenery.

As you are going to travel
to Scotland, you should go to some Travel Agency first and have a talk with its
manager. It was your homework for today. Pupils you are welcome. Roles
: Agency manager-
hardworking, creative, polite, helpful. Clients
: curious, nervous,
polite. Situation:
The conversation takes
place at the Travel Agency "Around the World”. Task:
make up the conversation
between the manager and the clients, using the phrases bellow. Follow the
instruction. d)

agency to tell us about the program of the trip. 5)

Now some
information about the national musical
instrument of the Scots.
But this time be ready to translate it from English into Russian. Bagpipe. The bagpipe was probably introduced into
Britain by the Romans. Bagpipes have been used in most European countries. Now
bagpipes can be seen and heard only in Scotland, in the northern countries of
England & in Ireland. In Scotland the bagpipe was first recorded in the 15
century during the reign of James 1, who was a very good player and probably
did much to make it popular. For a long it has been considered to be a national
Scottish instrument. The old Highland clans used to go into battles to the
sound of the bagpipes. T:
Scottish Writers Edinburgh has been known since the 6th
century & it has been the capital if Scotland since the 15th
century. It is not only one of the most beautiful cities in the world but it is
also the cultural centre of Scotland. It is associated with the names of George Byron, Walter Scott, Robert Louis
Stevenson, Arthur Conan Doyle - a creator of Sherlock Holmes, Robert Burns. On
the 25th of January the Scots at home &
abroad celebrate his birthday. And not only Scots. The celebration-Burn’s Night is usually
held in the form of supper, with reciting his poems & a lot of music &
Scottish dance. 6)Подведение

lot today, you have learnt much about
Scotland. Lots of tourists visit Scotland every year. Now it is the time to
prove why Scotland is really beautiful and worth visiting. Name some good
reasons why you would like to visit it. Excellent, pupils. I’m sure you will
